The church’s activities are grouped under five ministries with several departments, each headed by an elder and ministry leader.
Stewardship Ministry
This is concerned with the overall management and utilization of the church’s resources in meaningful ways according to the set goals, plans and budget of the church.
This involves administration, financial management, budgeting & planning, overseeing income-generating projects, development, maintenance of assets & equipment and other such activities.
Worship
Our very existence is to worship the Lord in every way and the worship ministry at Entebbe Baptist aims to foster an environment that inspires worship and equip believers to worship God in Spirit and truth.
This involves planning all worship services and meetings (Sunday, new believers, observing the Lord’s ordinances, music and worship arts, musicianship and Bible-based teaching.
Evangelism
Entebbe Baptist Church is committed to fulfilling the Great Commission of our Lord Jesus as stated in Matthew 28: 18 – 20.
Outreach programs/activities with the gospel include crusades and rallies, door-to-door, one-on-one, hospital ministry, the school (Entebbe Christian School) among others.
Discipleship
The Great Commission is not yet fulfilled until the believers become disciples of the Lord and therefore faithful witnesses who will be able to confidently profess and walk their faith and change the world as the church’s mission is having been grounded in doctrine.
This involves teaching and discipleship programs like Bible study and new believers’ classes.
This also involves various care groups/units for discipleship and fellowship – youth, men, women, children and marrieds.
The Word of God being the authority, we spend a great amount of time studying and teaching the Bible during the week and on Sunday morning.
Prayer & Intercession
Prayer is vital to the life of a church.
The prayer ministers lead prayer meetings and give the church prayer direction.
This involves planning prayer services and activities.
