Vision

To be a growing, loving, caring and wholistic Church based on the Word of God.

Growing – in quantity and quality. Growth in numbers as the church reaches out to bring the lost to the kingdom and part of the church of Christ. Growth in faith is a result of deeper knowledge of God’s word and relationship.

Loving others with the unconditional love of Christ, meeting each other’s needs.

Wholistic development of the individual member of the church includes spiritual, physical, and mental development to realize full potential as God has granted them gifts, talents and abilities.

Mission

“To be Rooted in the Word of God to change the world.”

We realize that the Word of God is the basis of instruction for the Christian. Every scripture inspired of God is also profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for instruction which is in righteousness that the man of God may be complete, furnished completely unto every good work. (2 Timothy 3:16 -17).

Our Purpose

Our purpose is dervied from the Great Commission of Jesus to His disciples as stated in Mathew 28:18-20.

Worship

We exist to provide regular opportunities for public worship. (John 4:24) Our worship service comprises worship in music, prayer and sharing the Word.

We observe the ordinances of baptism and the Lord’s Supper. (Matthew 3:13 – 17; 1 Corinthians 11:23 – 29). We believe in baptism by immersion as a physical symbol of the death and resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ. The Lord’s Supper is served once every month during the worship service and all believers are invited to the Lord’s table.

Discipleship

We abide by the ethics and doctrines as set forth in the Holy Bible for the Church of our Lord Jesus Christ. The Bible is the final authority for Christian living, doctrine and instruction. (2 Timothy 3:16 – 17; Isaiah 40:8; 2 Peter 1:20 – 21)

We strive to nurture members of the church through programs of discipleship, teaching and counseling, prayer and fellowship. (Ephesians 4:11-13; 2 Timothy 2:1-2)

All our programs are centered on reading the Word, prayer and fellowship.

Service

We exist to carry out the Great Commission by preaching and propagating among all people the gospel of God as given through the revelation of Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour of mankind.

As a result, tithes and offerings are channeled into the support of the Lord’s church. (Malachi 3:10; 2 Corinthians 9: 6-13)

Members are encouraged to exercise gifts of the Holy Spirit for edification of the body of Christ, to minister in Jesus’ name by meeting the needs of people around us. (Ephesians 4:11-12, Hebrews 12:4-8; 1 Corinthians 12:1 – 11, Romans 12: 3-8; James 2:15 – 16)
