2 Timothy 1:5
[5] When I call to remembrance the unfeigned faith that is in thee, which dwelt first in thy grandmother Lois, and thy mother Eunice; and I am persuaded that in thee also.
Apostle Paul acknowledges and appreciates the faith of his disciple Timothy’s mother and grandmother. These women were an example to Timothy through their faith. Paul is therefore persuaded that the same faith is in Timothy.
There are similar women in our day today. Women of faith who have purposed to bring up God fearing children. Many godly men and women are what they are today because of God’s purposes that were fulfilled through women of faith.
We acknowledge and appreciate their efforts in homes and the church. We thank God for what the Lord is doing through their lives.
